Region: Douro, DOP.
Clean and intense. Cherries and red fruits dominate (strawberries, currants, raspberries, etc.) with a creamy vanilla note and a balsamic finish (rosemary, rock-rose, etc.). Fresh and extensive start. The wine is full-bodied but smooth with the presence of fine tannins. Balanced acidity. One tastes the ripe fruit (cherries, strawberries) and some floral (violet) and balsamic notes. A discreet woody presence is also evident.
