The "Flor de Sal" is a very thin sea salt crystals layer. It grows at the surface of traditional salt fields located at the Parque Natural of Ria Formosa in the Algarve. It is 100% natural, hand harvested every day and sun dried, it preserves the humidity and the sea taste. Its mineral richness allows this salt to intensify food flavour besides being healthier than other common salt.
